An Evening To Remember
The 2022 Double M Foundation Hangar Party & Fundraiser has come and gone, and it was a big hit once again this year! We gathered with friends and family and enjoyed some great live music, delicious food, raffle prizes and a couple of killer air shows from the fine folks at SUN ‘n FUN.
Of course, all of the food and fun had a bigger purpose. We asked for your support, and you answered the call in a big way. At this year’s event, we raised a staggering $16,200 for the Lakeland Aero Club! It’s our biggest fundraiser to date, and it brings our total contributions to more than $37,000.
The money raised this year will help fund Matt Diem’s paid internship for another year as the club continues to provide high school and college students with hands-on training and experience, giving the next generation of pilots, mechanics and engineers a strong start in aviation.
It was truly an evening to remember, and we want to thank everyone who showed up and supported our efforts, especially those who donated their time, talent and resources to make this year’s event so spectacular.
Believe it or not, we’re already thinking about next year’s party. Be on the lookout for changes that will make next year’s event even better!
