Thank You for an Incredible Evening
The Mardi Gras-themed festivities are over, but everyone is still talking about the 2023 Double M Foundation Hangar Party & Fundraiser.
Thanks to our raffle donors, events sponsors and generous guests and supporters, we raised an incredible $20,315 for the Lakeland Aero Club! That’s a new record! To date, Double M Foundation has contributed more than $57,000 to the cause. Not bad for an event that originally started out as a group of friends hanging out to watch the airshow.
The Annual Hangar Party & Fundraiser is always a special event, and this year was no exception. It was wonderful to see our supporters enjoying the SUN ‘n FUN airshows, the energetic live music, the delicious food, and the ever-exciting raffle!
Proceeds from the event benefit the Lakeland Aero Club, which provides mentorship, instruction, hands-on experience, and resources for local youth and young adults who are interested in aviation. The club’s members gain valuable knowledge, skills, and experience as they learn to restore, maintain, and pilot aircraft. For many, participation in the club is a life-changing experience, and we are so proud to contribute to such a great cause.
So, to everyone who donated, volunteered, attended, purchased raffle tickets, took home a t-shirt, or spread the word, we say thank you. You helped make this year’s Hangar Party & Fundraiser one for the record books.
