SUN ‘n FUN’s incredible 50th Anniversary may be behind us, but the buzz surrounding the 2024 Double M Foundation Hangar Party & Fundraiser continues to grow.
Thanks to our raffle donors, event sponsors, generous guests, and supporters, we managed to raise an impressive $20,000 for the Lakeland Aero Club, all while having a 70s beach-style party with our family, friends and wonderful Double M customers!
The Double M Foundation has now contributed over $77,000 to the Lakeland Aero Club’s initiatives. It’s remarkable considering the event began as a casual gathering of friends watching the airshow.
This year’s Annual Hangar Party & Fundraiser lived up to its reputation as a memorable event. Our supporters thoroughly enjoyed the SUN ‘n FUN airshows, lively music, delicious food, and fan-favorite raffle!
Proceeds from the event support the Lakeland Aero Club, offering mentorship, instruction, and practical experience to local youth and young adults with an interest in aviation. Club members gain invaluable skills and knowledge as they learn to restore, maintain, and fly aircraft. Participation in the club often proves life-changing, and we’re honored to play a part in such a meaningful cause.
